RAIL AND GUIDED TRANSPORT DIVISION
As part of the missions devolved to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport for the issuance of operating authorizations for Guided Passenger Transport Systems, and in compliance with the regulated attributions applicable to approved qualified organizations (OQA), VERITAL is approved to carry out safety assessment missions for guided passenger transport. In its field of expertise, VERITAL provides in Algeria and abroad the provision and implementation of control, verification, expertise, analysis of potential problems, technical assistance and evaluation of the security of infrastructure of rail transport systems and guided.
TECHNICAL CONTROL OF RAIL AND GUIDED TRANSPORT IS BASED ON:
MONITORING GUIDED TRANSPORT FACILITIES
- Conducting evidentiary examinations before putting STGs into public operation.
- Audit and validation of all operations intended to verify the usability of STG installations in view of their reception.
- Establishment and delivery of technical opinions for the operation of installations.
SUPERVISION AND MONITORING OF PROJECTS IN THE CONTEXT OF NEW INSTALLATIONS OR TECHNOLOGICAL UPGRADE OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT
CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROMOTION AND PRACTICE OF TECHNIQUES RELATING TO SAFETY IN GUIDED TRANSPORT FACILITIES
- Technical control of STGs, their characteristics as well as the safety of their use or their implementation by all appropriate means such as visual inspection, sampling, laboratory examinations, tests and tests.
- Overall safety assessment of STG.
- examination of the design of plans, calculation notes and specifications of installations, materials, equipment, transport vehicles and specialized works.
